Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps disabled children to regain independence in all areas of life and help win barriers that affect a children’s emotional, social and physical needs.

The main focus here will be:

  • Self care routines like getting dressed (Fine motor skills and motor planning)
  • Writing and copying notes
  • Holding and controlling a pencil and using scissors.
Occupational Therapy

  • Kids with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ( ADHD) tend to display their classmates and kids with other special educational needs ( SEN) substantially differing patterns of sensory perception.
  • However, there are a variety of basic methods that can be used in the home or classroom to efficiently add the sensory controls that are often needed by these students. For this intervention, occupational therapists are crucial. Adding the right controls and intervention to address each sensory system tends to more coordinate / regulate the nervous system of the child and thereby tends the child with concentration and performance.
