DYSLEXIA

Dyslexia is a learning disorder for reading. People with dyslexia have difficulty reading at a decent speed and without error. They can also have a rough time reading, spelling , and writing. Although these challenges are not intelligence problems.

Characteristics of DYSLEXIA:

  • Difficulties in reading
  • Might see text as jumping around on a page
  • Difficulty in spelling
  • Inconsistent spelling of the same word
  • Letter and word reversals
  • Bad handwriting
  • Awkward positioning of hand while writing
  • Difficulty telling right from left
  • Difficulty in maths
  • Number reversals
  • Difficulty in following oral instructions involving multiple instructions
